Urban Regeneration

Urban regeneration is one of the core areas for our firm. We act for organisations in both public and private sectors, advising on estate renewal schemes, residential and mixed use new build projects, stock transfers and broader regeneration projects some of which are led by providers of infrastructure, and helping with both the structuring and the documenting of complex arrangements and subsequent finance.

This is a challenging area of business for clients, and expert advice is essential. Our clients include local authorities, housebuilders, registered social landlords, statutory bodies, health service bodies, developers, funders and others.

Transactions can range from straightforward land acquisitions to multi-party inner city projects involving complex legal relationships that tie together diverse stakeholders.  Many parties may be involved, including those from central government, the not for profit sector and the private sector.
