Abimbola is a qualified solicitor, non-practicising barrister, and a specialist in all aspects of housing management and local government law. He has advised on and completed numerous stock transfer transactions and has considerable experience of advising local authorities on setting up ALMOs. He has also advised local authorities on other outsourcing transactions and has experience of advising shadow boards in housing transfer and ALMO transactions.
Abimbola is a Visiting Lecturer in Housing Law at City University , London . He is a committee member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants' disciplinary and regulatory committees and a co-opted board member of Rosebery Housing Association. In September 2005, Abimbola successfully completed the Law Society’s Diploma in Local Government Law and Practice.
