Practice Area      Private Client

 

Hugh heads the Private Client department which specialises in succession management, capital preservation, fully integrated trust administration, advice on family equity issues, resolution of disputes over wills and trusts, tax advice and compliance, and related property and conveyancing services. The department represents high net worth individuals and families, landed estates, UK and foreign domiciled trusts and individuals, executorships, charities, and a range of agents acting on behalf of incapacitated individuals, such as attorneys and receivers. 

 

Hugh is a member of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Country Landowners Association and is legal adviser to a number of charities, including the Wykeham Crown and Manor Trust and the Clergy Rest Fund.
